Merry Christmas, my loves. Christmas is the most magical time of year. May this Christmas be so special that you never ever feel lonely again and be surrounded by loved ones throughout.
I have decided to share my Christmas tag with you to make this blog post fun and easy. Hope you like it.
What’s your favourite Christmas movie?
Of well, I think it is Home Alone. It might be the most ‘pop’ answer, but I just love this movie. It brings me joy. I can re-watch it every year and always enjoy watching it.
Have you ever had a White Christmas?
In Ukraine, where I am originally from, we always have a White Christmas. To be fair, snow and snow-related activities are something I miss the most about Christma here in London. I would love to create a snowman, go to the snow slide, play snowballs and just stare at the glitzy snowflakes outside.
Where do you usually spend your holidays?
I usually go to South Africa on the 1st of January to meet my family and spend a holiday with them. In my family, we celebrate New Year Eve, which is a BIG THING. Also, we celebrate our Christmas on 7th of January instead of 25th of December. I can’t wait to go to South Africa on 1st of January in 2017. Only a week left, I start packing! 🙂

What is your favourite Christmas song?
I am not sure if I have a favourite Christmas song. This year though my nephew had a performance at the nursery. All the lovely kids from his nursery prepared a concert for the relatives. They were singing 12 Christmas songs. It was that cute that I think now I love all the ones he sang.
Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?
Oh yes, of course, I do. I never have any patience to wait any longer. What about you?
Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer?
Sure, if I Google it first! 🙂
Which holiday traditions are you looking forward to this year?
Meeting my family and travelling around South Africa with them.
Is your Christmas tree real or fake?
This year, I did not buy the tree. Normally I would get the real tree from the UK farmers. I like to support the industry. I believe, by buying the tree I support people who are employed at the farms. Though, this year I could not resist buying the deer at the Leadenhall Market. I brought him home instead of the tree.
What is your favourite holiday treat/sweet/food?
I think, mulled wine. Is it too naughty?
Be honest, do you prefer giving or receiving gifts?
I really love both. I like to buy presents for my family and closest friends. I always feel like a winner when I manage to get something they would really need and love. From the other side, I am the person that loves presents. No matter, if it is Christmas or not, it’s always the perfect time to treat me, haha!
What made you realise the truth about Santa?
I guess, I have grown up. The best Santa, though, is my dad. Always knows what I need. Especially if I tell him 🙂
What makes the holidays special for you?
Since I have been living without my parents since I was 16, a festive season is all about the chance to see them. What I love about it, is that travelling with my parents makes me feel like a daughter again.
QUESTION OF THE DAY:
What do you love the most about Christmas?
