My Looks – outfits – a column was created to show my style and how do I express myself through creating different looks. I feel every woman should be brave with her fashion choice. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stick to the same style or format during the whole life. I believe women need to experiment and wear what do they feel like at the very moment. We need to grow and develop with time, try new things and be trendy.
My personal style is elegant but bright, a little quirky. I am feminine, glamorous but sophisticated. It wasn’t always this and not always be like this. I like to mix and match, implement new trends into my wardrobe and follow fashion in general.
Fashion has to be forward-looking, which is how we found ourselves watching the Autumn/Winter 2016 runway shows. It didn’t take me long to spot a new hot trend – maxi coat. Long coat trend caught up my attention straight away. I think it is a very elegant and sophisticated piece of the wardrobe. I suggest that you put maxi coats on your shopping list without further ado. And now let’s learn how to style it.
Sometimes, creating a stylish autumn outfit can be a challenge. Whether you have a well-stocked closet or take a more pared-down approach to dressing, we all occasionally get stuck with the fashion inspiration. The truth is that building the perfect autumn looks has less to do with having the right items. It is more to do with knowing how to style them together. Recently Zara launched an ethical clothing collection called Join Life. Join Life embraces a woman who looks into the more sustainable future. Clothing is made from a material such as organic cotton, recycled wool and Tencel® which reduces the environmental impact. FYI: Tencel is a wood fiber extracted from forests that are sustainably managed, guaranteeing its reforestation. Zara’s Autumn/Winter 2016 collection inspired me to look a bit more into sustainable fashion and research the topic properly. I was surprised with what I found out!
